While supporting the Late Willie Small Singers from New Haven, CT at the then Edwin Hawkins Music and Arts Seminar, Jonathan plugged in his guitar (without an invitation) yet after he performed he recieved a standing ovation from choir members of the seminar.

On this the Lords' day, we pause to honor our brother. He is the oldest of the trinity tribe and siblings parented by the late Nannie Belle (Champion) DuBose and Jonathan "Papa Joe" DuBose. My father stated at his Jonathan's 50th birthday celebration two years ago, these exact words "on the day you were born, there was some much snow piled up, that we had to call the police. But they could not get to us, then we had to call a fire truck. They arrived and both rescue units ushered me and my wife to the hospital so this baby could be safely delivered to the world". Happy birthday Johnny from your sister Anne`.

Sunday, November 11th, 2012 - After a long but high spirited ordination service held at St. James in Norwalk, Connecticut. Pop and baby brother paused to take a photo. What a blessing to capture this moment. Rev. Dr. DuBose thought it only right to ordain his father as a deacon over the Music, Worship and Fine Arts Conference. Since it's inception, the Sensational Starlight's have participated at four religious and musical conferences in throughout the east coast. Kenneth is the source of this NEW LIFE or emergence taking place. He called the move - "Here We Go Again". Good move my brother. Good move!
