The loss of The Father of Contemporary Gospel Music really hits close to home on this MLK day. Edwin Hawkins and family are family. Jonathan DuBose, Jr. performed across the world with Edwin, Walter and Tramaine Hawkins starting in the 80's. You can hear his antics on every live recording from the Hawkins dynasty.
The DuBose Family has had the honor of sitting under the musical influences of Edwin and Walter at the famed Music and Arts Seminar which took place each summer in major cities across the United States. And for such connections and fellowship, we are humbled truly filled with gratitude.
